Natural and great-looking wall finishes

Most of us think of wall-paper or paint as the go-to options when it comes to walls, but there are some time-tested and more natural options that are well worth considering.

Natural finishes like limewash, roman clay, and venetian plaster provide many benefits; they are healthier for both the earth, and the occupants of the space, and they can even be cheaper. Their beautiful subtle pattern and the very cozy, easy-to-live with appearance is a pretty nice bonus too! As it is with most natural looking things, these finishes are also very practical, hiding stains and hand marks -and they develop character and often look even better with time. The look is so well-liked that people even try and fake it using fancy methods and regular paint, or many companies make expensive specialty paints. But why bother when you can have the original!
