Copper is easy to maintain, ages well, it's durable, looks great, and has a lot of character. Those are some major virtues in the materials world. But on the other hand copper can be more expensive, and it's hard to beat the classic ceramic when it comes to maintenance and price, so you might as well get a ceramic sink and use your money on something more worthwhile instead of on stuff.
