Colorful patchwork upholstery
Great way to use up left-over pieces of fabric... Don't throw that stuff away, make a quilt or upholster something; cushions, chairs... anything, with patchwork. The colorful stuff adds a casual vibe... creative and fun!

Relax in natural beauty
Great easy-going place with xeriscaped plants, stone walls, gravel on the ground, and cheerful colors that were allowed to show some age. Not only do these features give a place cozy-casual feel, they also make the place easier to maintain and last longer which makes the place truly relaxing!

Colorful patterned tiles
Colorful and patterned tiles cheer up a room, add some color, some visual interest, and a lot of character. They're unfortunately not very common so they generally add mold-breaking originality as well, especially if you mix and match them.

Rustic bathroom and cozy entrance
Great flagstone patio, nice gate, cool front door, and cozy flagstone walkway with green growing between the stones. Seems like the lawn might be dichondra, too. Nice!
This bathroom is a little too rustic, but it's has a lot of character and with a few little touches it would be really cool & cozy. I love the exposed plumbing!

Life by the water has always appealed to me... This close to it, and in a setting like this would be great!
The colors and the textures below are very cool. Easy-going, warm, and very relaxing. This image also makes a great point for fabric window coverings. Who needs blinds and other mechanically complicated solutions when you can have this!

Decorate with flowers!
Whatever kind of place you have nothing improves your environment as much and as well as some foliage and some colorful flowers. Makes any place more cozy, and easy-going just like that. And it's good for us, too. Apparently any contact with nature, and especially flowering plants, reduce stress, encourage positive feelings, and even speed-up recovery after surgery!
