Scorched Wood

I usually prefer the natural color of wood, but if you're interested in something darker or more dramatic scorching also preserves and highlights the grain quite well.

  1. Can I use a heat gun to scorch wood? I've used a torch with mixed results, but I'd like something that gives me more control when lightly scorching.

    1. The results would depend on the type of wood but on some you would get good results. It would definitely be worth a try.

  2. Pallets are used in most countries throughout the world. Due to their simple structure, they are much handier than boxes, kegs, barrels and crates, and are also considered much safer during transport. As there is currently a higher demand for goods to be transported than a few years back, the pallet industry is also experiencing a boom. Even pallets in El Paso are now more in demand than ever. 3. If you have been thinking of building a shed, but have been putting it off considering the high value of the materials required, then using pallets as the material would be the perfect solution. Pallets can be easily got either for a low cost or for nothing at all. They are usually made of good quality wood and last long. There are good plans which you can consult to build a shed with pallets yourself. Pallet Management
